A Scientific Conference: Development of new means and performance techniques as a determinant of progress in the percussion art of the 21st century, organized by the Department of Wind Instruments, Percussion and Accordion, was held at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw on April 4-16, 2025. The conference was held in a hybrid format - STATIONARY AND ONLINE. 

The primary goal of the Conference is the emancipation of Polish percussion art, the exchange of experience in the field of performance on percussion instruments, and the creation of a field for discussion on the condition of Polish percussion art and the identification of needs to ensure its continued development. A side goal is the integration of the Polish percussion community, as well as the future holding of lectures combined with musical illustrations for adepts of percussion art.

The Conference was open to all persons interested in the development of percussion art. The conference was addressed to the entire percussion community in Poland (performing artists, educators, students and pupils).

Registration fees:

PLN 100 - for stationary participants (personal attendance),
PLN 150 - for remote participants (online presence),
Students of the Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw with a valid student ID card are exempt from entry fees (in-person attendance).

How to participate in the Conference?

Complete the REGISTRATION FORM by April 5, 2025 (time: 11:59 pm),
Pay the registration fee (no later than April 5, 2025),
Send proof of payment to: perkusja@amkl.edu.pl (by April 5, 2025, time: 23:59),
In the case of under-age registrations - deliver in person or by regular mail a signed statement of the participant's parent/legal guardian to the address of the Karol Lipiński Center for Promotion and Organization of Events of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw no later than April 5, 2025.
